TUSCALOOSA NEWS COLLEGE FOOTBALL RANKINGS... most rediculous preseason rankings ever

Alabama at #6. Seems unbiased to me.

LMAO

Although, why would Tuscaloosa, an SEC town, put tOSU #1? I though we were over that whole obsession?

Did you guys scroll down and see the categories involved in the rankings?

It was actually kind of cool... it was basically a historical Top 25. We were just outside the Top 25.

So not so biased.

We tied ugag for Hall of Fame inductees and were right behind them (WTF?) in coaching legacy.

Weird. I kind of thought losing to La Monroe - who lost by about 1,000 to Clemson, and losing to Ms State might have knocked that #6 ranking a bit.

But - I live in Alabama. No real surprise. These people are ignorant as ignorant gets when it comes to football. It has made me quite the Auburn fan though.

We're 29th overall based on historical winning percentage. According to this site: http://football.stassen.com/records/

Oh, and tied for 18th based purely on total number of wins.

Another graphic example of the ability to lie with statistics...!

Local zip code... pretty creative, huh!

(and if you like the zip code, you'd love the address..... thank god for using that CE sheepksin to specialize in land development in SW FL from 69-04....an example of outright retrospective flat out blind luck timing at its best)

34104 here.

And I guess people in Collier/Lee have finally realized 3/2 ranch homes 10 miles from the coast are NOT worth 500+. Your timing and location could not have been better.

LOL......yes, I became an absolute real estate genius by getting a place on the gulf side of Gordon in 1975, remodeling appropriately as time passed and then kept living there... like I said, pretty clever, huh!

One thing that I also lucked into was to meet Ray Lutgert in 69 after he'd picked up his 760 acres, so when when they completed their major development work in Park Shore and then did the whole Venetian deal, I had over fifteen years of great work and better yet, the opportunity to get in then as an investor. Did you know that 35% of all taxable real estate in Naples proper is / was Lutgert development? Anyway, we both know how it worked out, and it was nothing but blind good fortune, period.

By the way, you're spot on target with your analogy regarding the half million buck fiascos people got into a little bit east... there is so much stuff that was 500-800 three years ago that is now going begging for 275-300 that it's silly!
