TV Announcers pro F$U

Was it just me or were the announcers pro F$U/Bobby Bowden the entire game? They said a few nice things about some of our players, but in general they supported F$U. Thought they were on the payroll. They also kept calling our offense the wishbone. They refused to acknowledge that CPJ’s offense might be something different and to use the term ‘A-Back’ or ‘B-Back’. On a positive note, wife found my ranting about the announcers rather humors. :D

I don't think so. They did talk about Bowden a lot but that's to be expected. But they were also very positive about PJ, our talent and the offense. Davie decided to call it the wishbone and he's wrong, but at least he did try to convey how difficult it is to stop and understood what PJ does during games when he finds something that is working.

The problem with the broadcast was that it was focused almost totally on Bowden. After every FSU play, they'd show a closeup of Ponder's face for about 5 seconds, then a closeup of Bowden's face for about 8 seconds. When we were on offense, it was the same thing except Mickey Andrews instead of Ponder. Often they would ignore on-field action in favor of discussing the Bowden soap opera.

They didn't start showing Tech highlights until late 3rd quarter or something like that. It was all FSU FSU FSU up until then, even though we had some awesome plays.

Even when we did something great, they invariably panned to Saint Bobby to get his reaction. To me, it was just too much.

I have to turn the sound down or I am pissed the whole time. I am surprised at how much more I enjoy the game without the sound.

C'mon. I've rewatched 2 times so far and that's patently not true.

in the first half, they were just cumming all over themselves with how great the fsu offense was, but barely mentioned that the jackets were matching them td-for-td in drives of 1 or 2 plays, which is much more impressive in MHO.
