Two questions: Marcus Wright and Toss Sweep

what happened to the quick pass to bey bey? i haven't seen that at all this year. You can't throw 30 yards down the field every pass play and be successful. we need to have shorter passes that will hopefully open up the running.

CPJ has stated many times that we will never be a dink/dunk passing team. We will primarily take deep shots to keep the safeties honest. However, he did mention something in his press conference yesterday that some more (easy high %) passes would be called early on to get Josh's confidence and rhythm going.

That's fine. I was stating that the homerun pass won't work everytime. That comment doesn't suprise me. That's basically what I meant. Nesbitt's confidence probably did take a hit. There was a key third down where he over threw a reciever on an pattern that should have been completed and a lot of his passes were way off the mark. With a little confidence maybe he completes them

i was thinking this exact same thing last week when ppl were saying negative things to me at work about him being 1-11 at one point(when a co-worker turned on his tv:mad: fsu fan)
but anyway...i agree with the easier/shorter passes to get him going.

also, what happened to the a-back goes into the regular motion but then dives down to block for the b-back play?
maybe it was just because lucas was such a big back and could be used as a fb...dunno...
