I just saw a funny quote in the paper that I thought I would share to lighten up the board a little bit.

ACC's #15 ranked Virginia is playing at South Carolina this week.

In the coaches press conference, Lou Holtz was asked what were his team's chances against the WaHoos.

Holtz replied slowly, "Comparable....to the stripper that's running for governor in California."

Ole Lou is a hoot....err...uh...or perhaps a coot?!?!

I like Lou even if he is an ole goat. He spoke at my daughter's grad from USC East a couple of years ago and did a good job.

My favorite quote of his is "Never tell people your troubles. 90% of 'em don't care and the other 10% are glad you have 'em."

One of the funniest quotes I heard from Holtz was his coaching days in Arkansas.

While talking with a recruit, he was asked the location of the University of Arkansas. Holtz replied, "it is not at the end of the world, but you can see it from there".
