U[sic]GA Preseason No. 1

On a more relevant note, Clemson is #9 and VT is #15.

Somebody did give us 2 votes, maybe some navy staff. Other than Duke, Miami and FCS teams, our all opponents got more votes.
 
This is pretty good actually. #1 has to play #4 and #6 (neither at home) and #2 and #3 play each other. Not another free pass for OSU to the champ game. I think USC will wax them.

If UGay goes undefeated they deserve a shot.

If U[sic]GA makes it through with just one loss they deserve the shot. They have a brutal schedule.
 
Big 12 and SEC are definitely top 2 this year. Any one loss teams ought to come from there... Pac 10 and Big 10+1 are not much better than the ACC IMO.
 
Depends on who they lose to, and if they actually win their conference. Let's see how much they enjoy the giant bullseye they will be wearing all season long.

Their schedule includes #18 Tennessee, #6 LSU, #5 Florida, #11 Auburn, and the SEC championship game, if they were to go through with one loss. Not to mention the non-gimmes of Alabama and Kentucky. It's a pretty brutal slate of games...probably one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

IF any 2 other SEC teams, Big 12 teams, or OSU is undefeated UGA does not go with 1 loss...
 
Georgia's predicted success this year is based on the assumption that Matthew Stafford is going to be Robo QB this year and nothing about his past suggests that will be true.

They'll have a minimum of 3 losses and all we'll hear for a year is how they totally would have won the National Title if it wasn't for their impossible schedule.
 
The way I look at it is this: Whoopdee-freaking do.

Just beat them in Athens this year, and they won't have anything to say to us:

ugay retard: "Whoo how bout dem dawgs? i tol u we gun cum back 2 glory! all hail! a lot better than dem techies' season!"
Me or any other Tech fan: "TECH 35 ugay 7" (or whatever score we beat them by.

In the end, even if they win the title, as long as we beat them, in my mind they won't have much to brag about.

Here's another good question:

Would you rather have Tech beat UGA, but then have UGA go on to win the MNC, or have UGA beat us, but get waxed in the MNC, ala OU a few seasons back?
