<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Well somebody has to play out of conference (or get a bye week) in the ACC each week. We have 9 teams in the league which means that someone has to play OOC each week. We have been lucky in the past as the ACC schedule makers have been kind to us (limiting our OOC games to the first part of the schedule... then ending with UGA).Originally posted by GT Ace:
I think it's much too late to be playing a non-conference game. I'd really, really prefer this to be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd gm of the season. We wouldn't know how the younger guys play & could get them sone experience & get a feel for the returning team. With this game so late it may be a real disruption to our conference flow & substitution flow. Oh well, I don't like it, but we're stuck with it.
