UGAs 7th biggest rival...

I really, really believe 90% of UGA fans have some sort of football-related paranoid schizophrenia.

It asks gagger fans that if they could only win ONE game next year, who would it be against?

about 80% of them say Tech first. Some say MNC or SEC champ, and a couple Florida. But even the majority of those still mention Tech.

For those inbreds that mention Flarduh, All-barn, or the Vowels, just let Tech rise up and win a couple games in a row...then we'll see how important the Tech/UGA
game is to them.

This from RobbinsDemons14:

Georgia Tech. Beating Florida and UT and Auburn is better than beating tech, but there is nothing worse than losing to GT.

SemperDawg says this:

Tech should be everyones choice. Its a law.

And from NCTinATL:

Tech, and for the same reason previously cited: beating them isn't that big of a deal, but losing to them is hell. Because Tech wins are becoming increasingly rare, they'd have to squeeze years of lost opportunities to gloat into one.

And for the post of the day:

mountaindewman wrote: If you're fishing for someone to say Tennessee you're not gonna get it here. Tech or Florida are much bigger. Alabama would say Auburn. Florida would say Georgia or FSU. South Carolina would say Clemson or Georgia. Sorry, but you're not anyone's big game anymore.

Maybe you should go try the Vandy board. Or possibly the Memphis or Kentucky board. Wait. They have Louisville. Oh well, there's always Vandy. Try camping at their board a while...

I love MtnDew talking about how just about everyone considers UGA their archrival. The egos of those guys.

I went to high school with RobinsDemons14. We won state my senior (his junior) year. Not a redneck by any sense of the word, but one of the most inflammatory fans (in a calculated, well-spoken way) you will ever meet. Now I realize why everyone from other schools hated him so much back in the day.

Was thinking the same thing.

"Ohio State? Michigan, but only assuming they've already lost to Georgia HUNKER DOWN.

Notre Dame? Hell, the only reason they're still independent is that they're trying to get their schedule down to one game every year against us WOOF WOOF WOOF.

New York Yankees? Yeah, the Red Sox and the buried jerseys and all that - but deep inside themselves those fans know how many times I blew my nose on their Big Macs when they were down here for the series in '96 and I'll do it again the next time they come down here AND HES ONLY A FRESHMAN"

They don't realize that so few other fan bases are as schizophrenic (Oh dear) as they are. Georgia has the luxury (Cop out) of deciding which rival is most important to them on an annual basis (Or week to week depending on how the season is going) but the vast majority of other schools know point blank who their biggest rival is and which one they want to beat every year no matter what the cost.

I must say that most UGAg fans I know these days have developed a very over-inflated sense of self importance. They are good, but nowhere near as good as FSU and Nebraska were in the 90's (even UF regularly lost to FSU and got waxed by Nebraska), or Miami and USCe were in the early 00's. There just hasn't been a dominant program in the last 3-4 years like there was the previous 10-12 years, so the door's open for a UGAg to gain some limelight... but they have to win their own conference division first. :laugher:

Agreed

Worry about winning the conference first, thats hard enough. I could not stand to hear the UGAg fan moaning about being robbed of the national title last year and all their talk of the SEC.
