That's what my brother is, just plain Ugly.

Guys, indeed that was an ugly game last night. RB did not play well. KOR was atrocious as well.

Defense played outstanding, some tackling again was suspect but only given up field goals I will take in a heart beat.

TC ran well, JJ and CJ again stepping up.

Ask yourself this. In how many instances in the past 26 years would GT just fold and lose that game after the KOR for a TD? Be honest. Just about every time they would.

My point is, is that this team is special. They have that "IT" about them. I was never worried about last night for some reason. I try to watch the first few series closely to see where CPN is going and what CJT is trying to accomplish and if it's not working I am seeing adjustments. Adjustments that USED TO NOT BE MADE.

We need to spank UNC like they have never been spanked before to make a statement. Next week is the biggest game of the year for me. Even though we have faired well there lately, historically we don't play well in CH.

Brother's and Sister's in closing, Congratulations to The "I" again for a fine win and taking the next step on the ladder to the ACCCG.

Beat the "tarholes".

This group is just tough. I love how we have had several toe-to-toe slug fests this year and we are coming out standing.

I think alot of that is reggie.

He has put together several nice 4th quarters. It is fun to watch.

Reggie has the tendency to be the good, the bad, and the ugly from one quarter - or even one series - to the next. Fortunately, this year the 'good' Reggie usually shows up in time to pull it out. I get a little tired of hearing the television crew talk about how inconsistent he is, but I have to admit they have a point.

Seen lots of ugly, ugly games this season. Couldn't possibly have been any worse than the Notre Dame / Mich St game. In the end, a win for the record book is all that matters.

Definitely agree with your point. This team has the kind of chemistry that is capable of putting an ACC Championship ring on their fingers and another trophy in the Edge Athletic Center showcase.

After the Miami game, I reflected a long time about Reggie. The first 3 quarters, except the long ball to JJ, were so inconsistent. But, then he stepped up and directed the best drive of the season. He had nice throws to Cox and Matthews. Then, he had the slant to CJ. It is amazing to be a fan of his. Fortunately, this year, his ups are much more important than his downs.

Plus you know how tough he is. If he can stand up, he is going to be in the game. I think he has set the tone for the offense. In the last 20 years that I have been a fan, I have often watched us streak out to a 2-3 td lead only to painfully lose the 4th quarter and the game. With the exception of the ND game, that is just not happening anymore.

So to sum it up, after watching him for 4 years, I feel like he is one of my own kids. You want to take him behind the woodshed occaisionally. But, at the end of the day, you are really proud that he is a part of the family.

I hope he has a ACC championship ring to help remember this year.

Well said SMJ. We will miss Reggie after this year!

I told SWMBO this morning that if the number under our name is bigger than the number under their name when the clock reads 00:00 that I'll forgive a lot. That's exactly how this year's team is playing.

I will take a heart stopping win over a heart breaking loss any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I can't imagine wrong served. Forgiveness. You are playing on my sensibilities.

No Doubt.

I don't know how many of you heard the interview with Tashard after the game, but he said (paraphrased):

"This team is special. In years past we might have folded up after that 2nd pick, but this game we all looked at each other and grinned and said, 'that's okay, we'll get a TD next drive.'"

..or something like that. Memory doesn't work so well these days..

I was the same way, JD...

This team is confident and getting better week by week. Y'all remember how shakey GT looked against NCS in 1990? The frustrating tie with UNC? The field goal to pull out the game with VT (who was a patsy in those days)? But by the time the UGa game came around the team just got it done. They would have beat ANY team they played in the bowl game...Nebraska was just the unfortunate victim.

This team is shaping up the same way. And it's thrilling to watch.

It's interesting to compare Reggie's end-of-game performances to previous years - Yes, his overall stats have not been great, but this year he seems to be leading those 4th quarter drives to win/clinch games, whereas in previous years (like NC State last year and the two previous Ugag games) he seemed to self-destruct at the end.

Either way it's tough on the nerves, but you can't argue with the ultimate outcome this year (Wins!!!!)
