What Pastner did with Bell is much worse than what Labarrie did. In the end, Labarrie had the integrity to resign. Pastner refuses to accept responsibility for anything.

Of course he has to try and save himself, first...

What about controlling the program or exhibiting any semblance of common sense.

I agree that Labarrie and Bell are old news. But Ken isn't stirring it up. Its the NCAA. It is obviously not closed in their eyes. They can punish the program without finding that Pastner did anything wrong.

The NCAA really likes to kick us while we're down.

So where are the results from these efforts? What kind of losers cheat enough to get in trouble with the NCAA, but not enough to recruit any decent players or even have winning seasons?

Pastner is responsible for everything Bell did. Bell is not a Tech booster. He was brought in by Pastner.

We probably get a scholarship reduction (we can't find anyone to play here, anyway) and a postseason ban (lol)

    So, nothing changes.

Brilliant, through our play we have self-imposed a two year post-season ban and through our weak recruiting we have clearly sanctioned ourselves so that no schoalerships have been offered to top college prospects the past two years. We should be good to go.

Seriously, we should do one thing when the NCAA sanctions us. Our AD and coach should laugh uproariously in their faces. They should tell the sanctimonious investigators, “You guys are a riot. Carolina cheats for 25 years and they get off because their offenses are so egregious you buy their expensive lawyers’ argument that this is too serious a matter for you guys to judge. Please know that since that travesty of an investigation we don’t take anything you say seriously. You are nothing but a joke.”

    lol, memes becoming reality.

FBI wiretapping and arresting coaches, LSU coach on tape talking about paying players. Aunt Becky and co paying coaches to get their kids in school, I guess it's time to throw the book at Georgia Tech

NCAA had to wait until Wendell Carter finished his career at Duke before acting.

You may be correct - very much correct. But I am stumped by Level 1 violations based on freaking $300. Based on a coach that resigned years ago (was he really fired?). Dont like that he took a recruit to a strip club, but IDK.

Level 1 based on a psycho? That CJP was already cleared on? And he did gave benefits to 2 players, but I thought punishments has been dealt out on that?

    Just confuses me.

Are we going to be looking for 2 HC BB coaches?

How can CJP recruit now, if we haven’t been able to before?

Who would take the job right now? Maybe those clamoring fog Mark Price will get their wish.
