These boys throw it all over the field, and play defense with alot of heart. We lose- we sit at home for the Bowlidays

We always come out flat for these early road games... like today and particularly UVA & MD. Their receivers are much better than our DBs, plus they have a solid QB and are playing at home with nothing to lose. They could jump on us early.

The positive is that if we lose next weekend, we'll play better against UGA. We always play better after disappointing losses, except for maybe the MD loss after the BC game. I would definitely trade a UNC win for a UGA win as long as Chan is gone either way.

While the significance wasn't there, the UNC-NC St. game was one of the better games I've seen all year. NC St. played with a home crowd fired up about a rivalry game and came literally inches from losing on that last fade pass.

So, are we really much better than NC St. at this point? To be honest, it doesn't look like it. UNC passes it very well and seems to play good enough defense to stop our offense. I've gone from mildly confident about this game to serious doubt about a win.

BTW, as I've said before, we're definitely going to a bowl this year. It might be out west, but we will not be sitting at home.
