Tied in the fourth… I can't determine what I want to see happen here.

...and UNC scores, probably want to see them at 11-1 going into the ACCCG

I hope UNC can hold the lead and beat the turkeys.

Interesting that a VT player pops an official and stays in the game.

Officials doing everything they can to keep VT in the game.

Omg, they just gave VT a timeout back.

Holy öööö. VT got jobbed. Terrible call. No catch

It ended up being a catch... a few feet out of bounds.

I see what you mean, but watching in slow motion and reading Section 4 Article 3 of the rules, I still think it's a catch. He has control before he hits out of bounds--the ball is in its final, cradled position. Just because it jostles a bit at impact doesn't mean he wasn't in control.

Edit: Watching again I could go either way.

Did it stand as called on the field?

The fact that it was UNC probably factored in. Didn't we have a pretty close sideline play against VT that should have been a catch?

I hate UNC and I think it was perhaps a catch. But I would imagine the rule has to be one foot in after the ball has been secured. I think he definitely caught the ball before it hit the ground. But by the time he has possession on the way down, I'm not sure he got a foot in. I hope the Wolfpack beat 'em next week and then Dabo beats them like a drum.
