UNC's Tate season, career over

WOW... Terrible news. This is not the time to be selfish... I hate it for him and just hope that he can fall back on that degree.
 
Thats too bad, wish him a solid recovery. Seems like the injury bug is biting a little harder all around the conference this year than usual for being at the halfway point.
 
That's a little misleading. His season is over, and since he's a senior his Tar Heels career is over. He will still have the opportunity to make and play in the NFL.

Bad day for a lot of people though, huh? Tate's season done, Bowden fired, Romo out for a month, and Big Brown's career is over. Plus the Chinese table tennis champion got into a fight with a security guard when he tried to pee outside a karaoke club.

Yeah, I took that as he will not play anymore AT ALL.
 
This has to be the worst news of the day. I feel horrible for him. Imagine being on UNC's sidelines the past few years then to have this year and get hurt in the middle of it. That sucks... Best of luck Tate
