I know everyone is tired of talking about colors, but this time, it will be interesting.

The trivia question we always get is "name all of the D1 schools that do not have University in the name". The trivia question, or otherwise distinction, that LSU has gotten is "which D1 schools wear white at home?".

So, does the home team choose first? If so, I think we are home and will wear white. LSU would be forced to wear purple if this was the case.

However, I could see us wearing blue due to the conundrum.

I heard that both teams will be allowed to wear white tops, the helmets are a little different, but the real difference will be that GT will wear white pants and LSU gold.

The uniform color discussion actually does have some bearing in this game.

LSU is the only other NCAA team that traditionally wears white away.

I heard the bowl committee is calling for a complete whiteout and both teams will wear white helmets, jerseys, and pants. Our numbers and lettering will be gold colored and theirs will be blue.

Doesn't work that way.

Home team wears dark unless the visiting team agrees to let them wear white.
