Anyone else worried about this game?.. like big time? I'm hearing all over ESPN(most of them are idiots) that Miami is the best team in the ACC because of Harris... yes even better then VT. I don't buy any of that garbage. GT never gets respect out of the ACC.

But anyways, my question to you guys is what does GT have to do to come out of Miami with a win?

Block on the interior line to keep the B-back dive in play and get pressure on Harris. If we do that on top of what we've been doing, we should win.

Score more points.

No, serious answer:
OL needs to step up. I'm not football genius, but I think we need to attempt to attack the corners a little more often. Some on here have suggested quick slant passes. Sounds good to me. IMO, wouldn't hurt to lose a touch of aggressiveness on D either.

Passing numbers have been atrocious, but they're also all deep passes. If you look at the REAL statistics (as I've done after I calmed down) most teams don't complete many passes at the distances GT is trying. GT's passing looks so bad because ALL of the attempts are such a long distance.

So, to close:
-Attack outside
-Quick slants
-Don't be QUITE as aggressive on D.

Actually, I am nervous (of course) but not worried like I was agaisnt Clemson.

Clemson prepped for us a while.
Clemsons D Line is better.
Our O has another game under their belt now.
We've won 4IAR.
Our players don't fear the U.

Just FYI... Miami has the weekend off and so has over a week to prepare for us despite this being a Thursday night game.

Didn't they have a bye week last year??? But I expect a GT to handle the you Da U. Miami has the whole weekend to pat themselves on the back and hear how the U is back. GT is going to have to eliminate or minimize big plays on D to win. Also the Offense is going to have do what do what it does best run and pass when the D is on they heel

I was more afraid of Miami than I was Clemson at the start of the season. Which is scary.

Miami has everything in their favor. They have it at home, they have extra time to prepare, and they want revenge after we pulled their pants down on national TV last season. GT simply has to be the better team that day. Period. We will probably need some ints and our o-line has to keep the defensive ends from cutting off the pitch. We can't let them shut down Dwyer either.

Granted Clemson's D-line was probably the best in the ACC but Miami's had some penetration against FSU.

I think it could easily go either way based on who has the better night.

I'm pretty worried. Miami does have SEC speed, you know. Really though, it's going to be a tough game.

Then again, the F$U team they beat is losing to Jacksonville State right now.

I feel confident bout GT in this game. Did anyone realize that the size of Miami Dline is 250, 280, 282, 230lbs. Yeah they got speed ok the was the same speed they last year and I'm pretty Clemson was much faster than the U

Defensive speed against our type of offense is as much a liability as an asset imo.
