Slaton injured, may miss Gator Bowl, WVU coach says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Concensus All-American tailback Steve Slaton just might sit out the Gator Bowl on Monday because of a lingering thigh bruise, West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez said this morning.
"Steve Slaton ... he'll be very limited, really all week," Rodriguez said before the Mountaineers practiced to face Georgia Tech. "We'll see how it feels at game time."
Slaton was injured in a non-contact drill at a practice in Morgantown last week.
