Who ya got? I'll take DJ to win his 2nd major. Hasn't finished lower than 14th in a tournament this year. Averaging a cool 400 grand in winnings per start.

My dark horse pick is Justin Rose. Sometimes you just have to go out on a limb.

Tiga tiga tiga woods y'all. (Not sure that he'll win but I think he'll top 10.) He can grind better than anybody and though he is throwing darts at the greens, he'll need to make some 8 footers for par and his putting has been, well, terrible.

Justin Thomas, Jason Day, and Rors should all be there. I still think Rory is better than everybody else when he is really on.

That Justin Rose limb looks like a redwood trunk to me.

Ha. I wanted to take Alex Noren as my dark horse, but I don't think he would be a surprise winner, either.

Tyler Strafaci playing fairly well but I did just hear a Georgia Tech University reference from the limey on the live stream.

I think I'd break 100 on this course....the wrong way of course. Good grief.

My predictions are more hopeful thinking...kuch or strafaci. As it stands poulter seems like the type of play that will win.

Worst aggregate score for a threesome among the morning groups - Rory, Jordan and Phil. I would hate to see thes three miss the cut. Sometimes I wonder if it is fair to group the best golfers into super threesomes. They get good tee times and TV likes it. But, it only adds pressure to a high pressure situation.

Tiger's ball-striking, I think it's safe to say, is all the way back. #1 kicked his butt or he'd be looking pretty good. Still can't make birdie putts, though.

Piss on the USGA. If I wanted to see 10 over rounds I'll go tee off with my buddies. I want to see pros tested, but this is ridiculous.

Top 10 golfers in world are 51 over combined. Savage track.

    Savage setup.

Yeah I dont like it much either. They f'd up hard at Shinnecock last time they pkayed it there and looks like they're on their way to doing it again.

Punish bad shots... that's what you're supposed to do. But they are punishing good shots just the same. Take a lesson from Augusta on that. No course balances punishing bad shots and rewarding good shots as well as ANGC. You could grow the rough to 4" and cut down a few trees to get the wind blowing a bit more and have a near perfect Open there.
