Based on the who's left list I think #32 is about right for Tech.
Looks like he might put Fresno State, Cincy, Ohio, Tulsa and NIU in his top 25 (or at least top 30) based on this:

I'd wager a heavy amount on Fresno, NIU and Cincinnati breaking into the top 25 by November

and this:

(and based on that, he probably doesn't think GT is a top 25 team, so we should be coming up soon)

He probably just thinks our schedule will kill our chances.

Or maybe we just aren't a top 25 team regardless of schedule?
I meant with regards to 'breaking into' the top 25. NIU isn't a top 25 team by any stretch of the imagination either, but with their schedule they could be a 1 loss team through November, which would get them that ranking (they were 21 at 11-1 last year).

We'd kick their ass, we're a better team, but the possibility of us having enough losses through November to keep us out of the rankings is much higher.

I reckon he puts NIU and Fresno State, maybe Cincy, in but not the others.

37 = PSU

Who is No. 36? This program is 44-20 in seasons when it scores 400 or more points.

We're 75-27-1 in such seasons.

Fun fact, our first 400 point season was 1916, the year of '222'. Our highest scoring season in program history was the year after that, averaging 54.55 points per game for a season total of 491 points.

probably Oregon State

00, 02, 03, 09, 12 seasons had 400+ points and add up to 44-20 (added in head and didn't look at previous seasons, so still guessing)

yeah, but I reckon it's a pretty good guess. You'd hope that most teams that average over 31 points a game would win more than 2/3 of their games (ahem GT 2011, 2012)

He knows we're watching and will quit when he ranks us. We're going to be #1.

36 was Oregon St. Could we be #35?

— Who is No. 35? This team is led by the only active coach to win 50 or more games during his first four seasons on the NCAA level.

CPJ won 50 games in his first 4 seasons as head coach at Georgia Southern. Of course he was on the NCAA level before being a HC?

Pretty good article.
Yeah it's nice reading an article from someone who seems to have watched our games and actually looks at what happens on the field.

— Who is No. 34? This program is the only one in the FBS recognized with a 2012 Super 11 Award to have reached a BCS bowl since the 2009 season.
