Only because this took place at UVa am I not surprised that I'm not surprised.

What ho and salutations my fine engineering-inclined compeers,

Verily, I suspect it important for I to weigh in on this matter. While I was aware of this tradition, and did very much engage whilst a young strapping lad in underclassmen days, I instead preferred to refer to my participation less as "ramming" and more as "taking", finding it to be more exact in nomenclature. A good Virginia man is always generous and receiving, as it were.

As to the current hullabaloo over the practice, I would be remiss to point out that we have indeed shared our time-honored customs with other schools and I am very much inclined to believe that yet again our fine football lads will be on the receiving end of yet another raucous ramming on November 19th. Although, as is customary when a good Virginia man visits Atlanta, we will most indubitably be rammed very much the night before in many fine establishments and alleyways around your fair town as well.

I think many of those activities go on now at the Beta house at GT. They don't have a problem with it.
 
I'm surprised Zima wasn't mentioned as a part of this. I'm sure they have a bunch stock piled there
