DE Michael Johnson: Listed as a backup on the defensive line, Johnson “looks to be a third-down rusher at one of the ends,” beat writer Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer wrote. The third-round pick had a solid preseason, making nine tackles and getting some screen time on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”
OT Andrew Gardner, Dolphins: The sixth-round pick made the team as the lone tackle backing up starters Jake Long and Vernon Carey.
DT Vance Walker, Falcons: The seventh-rounder was cut Saturday as the Falcons trimmed their roster to 53, but was then added to the practice squad.
DT Darryl Richard, Patriots: Richard, a seventh-rounder, also was added to the practice squad after being cut Saturday.

How much money does a practice squad player make?

Do many practice squad players end up making the team?

The minimum salary is 88k and there are only 8 players on practice squads (you can stay on it for 3 years max.) I don't know about their chances but probably better than not being on the squad?

I think Reggie Ball was making 6 figures on practice squad.

I was totally about to post this earlier, but my phone rang and I became distracted.
