Also of interest might be the thread "Back to the Future" (it might help in interpretation to know that our teams circa 1996 were extremely effective on defense and extremely inept on offense; iirc we might have beaten Notre Dame that year if only we'd punted on first down instead of made a critical turnover).

Off-topic but potentially of interest might be "Stay in the SEC" on the same forum. FWIW i make no bones about my envy for the fact that y'all can play in a competitive football conference that (outside of F$U and the stories i heard about Friedgen's interviews at Maryland) has academic integrity.
