I bought tickets to the Vandy game through GT, but have not received them yet. Has anyone received theirs yet?

I think away game tickets generally are delivered a couple weeks before the game.

how much were the tickets through the GT? Was really wanting to get to an away game this year. Thought Vandy would be a good one.

A friend and I got good seats for $5 outside the stadium at Vandy the last time we were played in Nashville (I think 2003).

I expect to pay a little more this time, but not $40. I did buy Mississippi State tix thru the GTAA, but the more I hear about them the more I wish I would have waited to get better seats for less.

I got two 50 yard line tickets from eBay, $76 total (and a dollar of that was for charity).

I have them already.

Even if you can get tickets for less, buying them from GT will more likely put you in the midst of other Tech fans. This will always be a more sophisticated and intelligent crowd. You're also supporting the program.

That's why I bought my tickets through GTAA. I want to be sitting GT fans, not Vandy fans.

Once folks realize that the game is on Halloween and little junior needs to go trick or treating, tickets will become more available. I'd think they'll be cheap on the steets just due to Halloween.

Of course that's a bit of a risk. If GT and Vandy are having good seasons up to that point it will be tough ticket. Vandy's stadium seats 15,000 to 20,000 less than Booby Dodd Stadium.

I thought AMC was the Booby.

I also don't expect Vandy to have that good of a season. I figure losses to LSU, Ole Miss, UGAg and possibly USuCk before us. If they also get beaten by either Army, Miss State, or Rice along the way, tickets will be plentiful.
