Anyone else watching this? Vandy is surprisingly less bad then I thought they would be. I didn't think Auburn was a bad team, especially with the way they played LSU. Good game.

I have many knowledgable and fanatic Auburn fan friends, and they have been saying all year that they have the worst offense in the SEC (even worse than Miss St and Tennessee and Arkansas) and one of the worst in the entire country. Loss to Vandy surprised none of them. They were more surprised about being able to beat Tennessee. Their OC has become an emotional wreck and has been fighting with Tuberville about everything having to do with offense. Word is that Tub wants to abandon the spread but doesn't know how. Dark days for Auburn.

Ur looking at the next HC for Clemson and he's going to be a good one. That Johnson is a lot like our Johnson in that he's a genuine football coach. Next coach at Clemson. Baby Bowden has overstayed his welcome.

Yes, but they are in the mighty SEC. Does anyone else think that Awwwburn will still be ranked this week? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. I bet Wisconsin will be as well, though both now have two losses.

+1000

WTF has Auburn done besides prove to the nation that they can't move the ball? And next week they will still be top 20 because they play in the sec.

if auburn is somehow still ranked tomorrow, i'm filing an official protest... with someone...

they are awful, and i said all week they'd lose to vandy. and i don't even think vandy's that good. of course, all the sec fans will chalk this up to how "deep" the conference is now.

auburn's offense is pathetic
miss st.'s is pathetic
arkansas' everything is pathetic
usceast and ole miss are confusing
vandy is slightly better than those teams
oh yeah, and tennessee sucks at everything

now that's depth...

Tubberville should fire that new OC. If Auburn lines up 2 TE and hands the ball off like they did on the first 2 drives they win that game by 2 TDs.

I don't think Johnson's going to leave Vandy anytime soon. Clemson's too nutty of a place for him.

I'm starting to think that outside of Alabama (despite the UK game) all of these supposed world beaters in the SEC West are very suspect. Yes, I am including LSU in that discussion. LSU's offense is obviously excellent, but here are the scores against the only two real opponents they've played thus far:

LSU 26 - AUB 21
LSU 34 - Miss State 24

That's the most points AUB and MSU have scored against BCS opponents and far and away the most offensive production from either of those teams against SEC schools.

In the ACC this would be the sign of a suspect defensive football team. In the SEC it's just a sign of all that speed and parity.

I think he's an alum. Oh well. I wish he would stay at Vandy. But I betcha he's going.

+1

Couldn't agree more!

Also why is everyone making over Vandy right now. Last night the announcers for the game were talking as if they were world beaters or something. It's like praising the retard in the classroom. Lower standards for worse programs (THAT IS, if you are in the SEC). It's like  to the UGA football player who discovered the solution to the elusive equation "1+1=x, what is x?" Great job you actually know how to add . Or in Vandy's case, great job you actually beat another overrated SEC team. Seriously, Vandy only won because of a two reasons: 1) Auburn sucks and 2) They missed a PAT :laugher:.
