GO JACKETS!

#30 Billy Williamson? That would be 60-62. 62 was the 7-6 triumph at Grant Field but looks like we are wearing road all-whites and Bama is in home Crimson so probably '61.

Sure, but you’d be ok with people smoking in the stands today?
Yes. And I've never smoked (other than the very occasional cigar maybe 10 or 15 years ago). Should be up to whoever owns the stadium. In a case like this, where it's a public facility, I guess it's up to the AD. AFAIAC, they can do what they prefer. If it was me, I would have smoking and non-smoking sections and let folks determine how much of each by how many choose each option.

I am going to say 1960 vs Bama. Don’t think Williamson was on the 1962 team. DeepSnap?
True... Billy was gone by 1962, having lettered in 1959, 1960, & 1961 (Tri-Captain with Chick Graning & the late Willie McGaughey).

Believe this is from the infamous "Chick Graning-Darwin Holt" game, a 0-10 loss in Birmingham on 10 Nov 1961. #31 would be Doug Cooper & #22 Joe Auer.

Alabama did not start using their red helmets until the Bluebonnet Bowl game against Texas on December 17, 1960. Tech & Bama played on November 12, 1960 at Grant Field.

Makes perfect sense, as always!

Because ties and jackets are racist and white. And why just old? Don't you think it was a better time for young racist white guys, too?
Let’s not forget having Men’s and Women’s bathrooms instead of trans and “pick which one you identify with today” is a sure sign of it too
