I may be able to make the game @ UNC this weekend, but wanted to get a sense for where the good guys would be sitting. Anyone out there with seats who can tell the section info?

I think my tickets are in 102 but I don't have them with me.

On a related topic, does anyone know the best parking for visitors? I'm looking at "extraordinary ventures" lot on E. Rosemary St.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing and did a little research. That's the second person I've seen mention 102, so that seems like a pretty safe bet. This random google image combined with a seating chart of Kenan makes it look like certain rows in sections 100, 101, and 102.

Whatever you do, make sure you get there early and park on the north side. Otherwise, the walk is a bitch.

Yeah, it's sections 100, 101 and 102, mainly. And the view sucks if you're close to the field. I was there in '08 and had a hard time seeing a lot of what was going on.

Careful at UNC. The first 5-7 rows on the lower level suck. They are so low you can't see over the bench. Keep this in mind if buying tix.

If you have not been there before, just be be forewarned that seats/seating there can be terrible. The seats have backs to them, which can be nice, but they extend into the row behind them, so there is little to no room to move in the aisles.

Also, it you are sitting in the lower corners on the open side( I believe this is a vistor section because there wer a large amount of tech fans in that area when my dad and I went there around '05), the stands stay parallel to the field AND go past the back of the endzone a long way. If you are in those 2-3 sections your angle to the field is terrible.

So basically it sounds like we should be aiming for Section 102 at least 10 rows up to be with Tech fans but also be able to see the field at a serviceable angle.

at least there is the video board to the left. last visit there, 2008, spent more time watching the game on the video board than watching the field. seats were on the 1st or 2nd row in 102 I believe.

in 2010, this was the view from the bottom of the visitor section. I hope this view happens again.

Good stuff - I've read about needing to get up 10-20 rows, so that's good to know for sure. Sounding like good weather for a game, too; hope it's a good result.

Does anybody know if there is free transportation from the Raleigh Durham airport to UNC?
