Vote for CJ!

Sorry beej but I have to disagree with you on Herschel. He is the best high school/college RB I have ever seen.
 
I would put Bo and Barry ahead of Her$chel also.

These kinds of polls are pretty silly, though - none of us have seen half of these guys play enough to evaluate them. A lot of the voting seems to be based on the pro performance of the players rather than their college careers.

Who considers himself qualified to vote on the offensive linemen in the poll? After John Hannah I didn't know what to do. Especially since John Davis wasn't even listed! :mad:
 
Another thing I noticed - A lot of the more recent players are higher than they should be in the polls (Vince Young, Reggie Bush, etc.) just because their careers are a lot fresher in everyone's mind. Guess a non-GT fan could say the same about CJ, but, obviously, those of us who watched him every game know better - I've never seen a better catch, college or pro, than the one against NC State!
 
Why am I not seeing the greatest college QB of all-time on that list? Freaking Phillip Rivers makes the ballot but Joe Hamilton doesn't? Absurd.

Herschel was a fast, strong, straight ahead runner. But he didn't have any elusiveness. I actually think his contemporary Eric Dickerson was a better tailback.
 
Yeah, I actually had Dickerson as my top RB in the poll. Unfortunately, I had a brain fart and fell for the Reggie Bush PR windstorm and put him second.
