Did anybody notice that one guy on VPI's defensive line who did some kind of move before the snap where he dropped to the ground, rolled over, and got back up into his stance (rather than just shifting like a normal person). One of the more bizarre things I've ever seen during a football game.

I saw it clearly once, and somebody sitting near me said he did it several times.

My understanding while watching it was that they were rolling interior defensive linemen to gain a numbers advantage on the perimeter. It was too far to shift quickly, re: required to roll (even if it was a bit sloppy).

I was hoping we'd catch 'em off guard one time, but we'd prolly screw up by getting flagged for a hold, a clip, a face guard, a chop block, a sideline warning, an unsportsmanlike like conduct, an unnecessary roughness, a targeting, a false start, a block below the waste, and a given him the business...oh...and we would have fumbled and VT would have returned for a TD, meanwhile JT thought it was supposed to be a 3O to the left, Willis thought it was a rocket toss, and Joe thought we were in punt safe.

So, all in all, it was a great coaching decision.
