I enjoy reading the opponents message boards....anyone know a good one for Virginia Tech? I found techsideline.com, but it's driving me crazy the way it's laid out.

techsideline is their main board.

I hate those layouts too...for some reason both virginia teams have that style of layout.

On a somewhat funny note, the UVA board is www.thesabre.com. VPISU fans refer to it as "Le Sabre".

Scanning through some of the posts, most aren't giving us much of a chance based on "stopping" us last year and our D being unable to stop anyone. While I think we will get killed if we can't play any better defense than we did Saturday, it still seems that they are very cocky.

Can't really blame them. They've pretty much had our number since coming to the ACC.

Here's to turning that around, one game at a time starting next Saturday!

I don't blame them for being cocky. I'm extremely concerned. Our offense is on fire but our defense is mostly miserable right now. Meanwhile, as best I understand it, Virginia Tech is playing lights out. It's a monumental task we've got in front of us. After seeing the heart this team has last night I'd never say we can't do anything. But we'll need our best effort to send the Hokies home blue.

Everything you said is very true, but things change so much from week to week in football that it's so hard to predict. Who knows if we see the Virginia Tech offense that moved the ball against Miami and BC or the offense that stalled against Nebraska. We don't know if our offense will continue to click like it's been the last three weeks. Watching ACC football in recent years has led me to believe that what you expect the most is least likely to occur.

GT - 3
VT - 2

Just kidding.

not really worried about tyrod. david wilson and ryan williams are disgusting, though. they could shred our defense.

This game scares the hell out of me. Our ST is our weakest point and they've played lights out in the last 2 games against real opponents. I don't want it to happen, and I don't necessarily think it will happen, but I will walk into the stadium remembering a VT blowout is a distinct possibility. Let's hope not.

I could hardly agree at this stage speical teams is our weakest point. Unfortunately it's a unit that's on the field a wholeeee lot longer than that.

they've got every reason to think that they're gonna win. Personally, I think we're in deep doo-doo if we can't stop people from marching down the field. Offense is finally clicking, Nesbitt has taken leadership, but defense is struggling hard...
