VT loss got us back in it

Nice to see VT lose & for us to win...However, we just need to continue to focus on our next opponent each week....and let things take care of themselves.... GO JACKETS!

Now we just need them to lose again....& for us to continue to WIN!
 
yes my man! Next week we have UVA and VT is at FSU. So by next Sunday we will be on top of the div

No, we're not back in it until they have 1 more ACC loss than us. We're one step closer, however.
 
We currently have the best overall record in the ACC and the best conference record. I'd say were definitely in the mix. Interestingly, UVA has emerged as a contender for the division as well. They suddenly become a legitimate threat to knock off VT. Of course, that also makes them a legitimate threat to knock us off next weekend.
 
Yeah, suddenly ole Virginny and Free Shoes aren't the gimmes they once was. We've got our work cut out for us for the rest of the season.
 
Guys, we will come out on fire next Saturday. Got a great feeling about it.

Nesbitt's back with a game under his belt and he wasn't holding his hammy like MV7 used to ALL YEAR LONG. A very good sign, indeeeeeed!
 
I'm actually glad UVA has gotten their act together. We have a 3:30 start for good tailgating and a tough game to anticipate. Hopefully, perfect weather and a fired up crowd. I don't think any team is anxious to take us on at Bobby Dodd Stadium. This is a game that will get some national attention, now.
 
From here on out, if we take care of business we win, we don't and we lose. Period. UNC has had their bubble popped, UVA and FSU are in the ATL for their games, and UGAg is UGAg. We should be favored at least until UGAg and even then we win as long as we execute. Jackets finish 11-1 and go collect some money from the big pocket books. Question though, even if we do make it to a BCS game, will we even sell out our allocated tickets then?

If we do beat u[sic]ga, and go 11-1, the excitement around our fanbase should lead us to taking most/all of those allocated tickets.
 
Guys, we are not an 11-1 football team right now.

It can happen and I hope it does happen but...

Not even close. Doesn't mean we can't get there though, with a lot of improvement and a lot of luck.

Hell, if we beat UGA to go to 7-5, the excitement around our fanbase would probably lead to us selling out or allotment to another damn Humanitarian Bowl or Emerald Bowl.
