... But BDS will be much louder than the Dome was.
I doubt it... being inside a dome is crazy loud. BDS isn't really built for sound.
I will admit though, Clemson's last drive this year was the loudest I've ever heard it, next to maybe the goal-line stand vs. Maryland in '06, and TJ Yates blamed the crowd noise for that missed snap saying that the center couldn't hear the snap count or cadence.
VT has played only 1 true road game this year. We need the guy who made that schedule.
I am going to assume that the Georgia Dome crowd was at least 70% Bama fans. But BDS will be much louder than the Dome was.
I was at the BAMA/VT game at the Dome this year. It was pretty loud, and about 55% Bama fans. Just enough to have a majority. They really do their best to sell the tickets right down the middle.

I wasn't at the UM 06 game so I can't comment, but I couldn't hear myself think on Clemson's last drive this year. I have to believe that this game will be louder:
(1) Saturday night - lots of tailgating effect
(2) Homecoming - big partisan crowd
(3) Biggest game of the year so far
Could be the perfect storm. Man, I hope so.
