I think the majority of VTs DL is out this spring. They will likely be one of the better DLs in the country once they return. So the OL will look better than reality. But, that's the key for VT - if they can field a respectable OL, they will be a very good team. But Brewer just isn't good enough to produce offense by himself. And that OL was an embarrassment last season.
 
Brewer playing well, maybe VT defense won't be that good this year...

much better than last season, first team offense has 24 points in first half [against first team defense]

with that said, first team defense has 7 points, and special teams another 7, score 24-14
 
Doesn't deserve its own thread, but just saw that apparently the starting QB for Kansas was tackled and injured in the spring game while wearing a non contact jersey.

Just talked to a VT friend of mine, I had to ask how many chop block penalties they had in their spring game. He laughed....then hesitently said "I think 4 or 5".....noobs
