Turned it off after his nevermind the fans bit at the 7 min mark. There’s a line you can walk there with player support over the folks in the stands and he’s always trended that way but it’s a fundamental mistake to continually be that dismissive of fan (read financial supporter) sentiment. Especially at this point in the season. Tell me that after NIU, ok. Tell me that now with another 3 win season in hand, you’re on the ööööing clock.

battling was the most overused non-football word this week
Our guys keep battling and battling and battling and battling and battling.
It's incredible how far they have come to be in game like this and have a chance to win.
now we just have to find a way to win these games
and they keep battling and battling and battling.

Well, he took the loss on the staff. That is good. As a coach he needs to back his öööö talk about the biggest rebuild in the history of the universe and say we are building. All the we need to play at a high level next week talk is bullshit. We aren’t going to play at a high level next week moving forward with the same drum. Maybe some of the we need to get back to work during practice and open up the ATL chart (which doesn’t seem to mean much either). Players showing the most work will get the starts. Something. That looks a lot like... “well my guys aren’t beating out the last staffs guys at key positions of need and I’ve not recruited well enough to overcome it”. I supported Johnson and have supported Collins. I knew there would be hurdles in overcoming the change but the line is growing old. I don’t believe athletically we are behind NIU, UVA, VT, even Pitt to a level that the problem here is not on the coaching.

And that physical VPI D with two physical defensive ends just gave up 40 at home to Syracuse.

Good Lord.
I battled just to listen to 4 minutes of that crap.
