Wake loses this weekend

Undefeated Wake Forest, ranked in the top 10, picked as 2.5 point underdog against a UNC 4-4 team. That’s disrespectful to all top 10 teams.

House mortgage funds right before gametime - oh, yeah.

Just a couple weeks ago top 10 Oklahoma State was an underdog to unranked Iowa State. How can they stand behind these polls with a straight face when things like this are happening? A ranked team, much less a top 10 one, should NEVER be an underdog to an unranked.

Because it’s a farce.

There is a difference though between what a team deserves to be ranked vs their potential strength in any given matchup. If a team recruits #1 classes 4 years in a row, they still have to earn that #1 ranking in the poll.

The Sharps in Vegas don't care about the emotion behind polling, nor magical undefeated Seasons, all the Sharps in Vegas care about are matchups and raw unemotional analysis, The Sharps in Vegas aren't wrong very often, and they also aren't very far off.

Yea, Vegas doesn't care who wins. They look at the metrics when setting the lines and let the way the beta fall move the odds. You could call every game Team A and Team B for all that matters.

That's my point. I wasn't saying they shouldn't be an underdog. I'm saying if they are truly an underdog, then they really shouldn't be ranked #10.

I hope WFU wins by 40. Brown, players and Triangle media are all suggesting by beating Wake the Tarheels vindicate themselves as a true top 10 team. Brown’s logic was that we were picked #10 in preseason, made a few “mistakes”, but now get to play the #10 team in the country. Win and we show we belong among the top 10. Says that with a straight face, media buys it, all from a 4-4 team.

I like how out of all teams to represent the ACC, we have to cheer for the vandy rip offs

Now THAT is the North Carolina logic we know and love.

No we don’t.

The ACC and it’s failed network are getting lapped by the SEC. Swofford really screwed the pooch with the tv and bowl situations.
