WANTED: Photos from Tech/UGA game on 11/25/06 (played in Athens).

Hi everyone. I'm a long time "lurker", never post, but I enjoy reading spirited discussions. I recently purchased a game worn Tashard Choice jersey, white, which I believe was worn in the 2006 TECH/UGA game in Athens. It may have been worn in other away games, too, but I'm having a very difficult time locating photographs of Tashard in his whites, for me to make a jersey photomatch.

If anyone knows of Tech fan sites that contain high res photos of Tech's 2006 AWAY games (home games are easy), please let me know!

I used gettyimages.com to photomatch the jersey at the UGA game, but I'm not permitted to download the images full resolution. At least not without dishing out $200 :wow:

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Great idea. They had a photo of Tashard, but it seemed to be from the first quarter and there was no wear on his jersey yet. They had several photos of Reggie Ball getting his ass handed to him :rolleyes:

GTKyle, I'm a big fan of flickr! That's usually the first place I look, and I was able to photomatch other jerseys from there. But it's these darned AWAY jerseys... fans usually only take photos of their home team.

Yep, that's another excellent site! I used thegooley awhile back to photomatch an Xavier McGuire I picked up!

The large tear by his #81 and smaller marks match perfectly.
 
Does anyone know of a way to acquire or buy the full-size files of these images? A couple of these would look great on my wall...
 
InDoddWeTrust, the top photo did help. You'll notice a small white mark on the left #2 on his shoulder (you really have to be looking for it) which is on my jersey.

Unfortunately, all of the grass and dirt stains come right out when jerseys are washed. They must use Tide =(

Do you have a higher resolution for that photo?

GTKyle, I don't believe a photomatch requires every mark to be accounted for. The only way that could be accomplished would be to see a photo of Tashard late in the fourth quarter. All it takes to convince me is one good match.

FYI, the photo from this thread by the forum member shows Tashard's right shoulder. I was able to photomatch marks from Tashard's left shoulder earlier, and that particular match is a little more convincing than the one I've posted on page one. I'll post the other photo soon.
