Was anyone else impressed with the Auburn fans?

There were a lot of them there but the pre-game tailgaiting was very friendly, and a large percentage of them stayed until the very end. UGA fans would of left half way through the 4th quarter to go vandalize cars. It was what a rivalry game should be like IMO, spirited but fun.

I agree. Those I met were very friendly and we returned the favor.

After the game we helped a group crank up their Snapper lawnmower for the long ride back to Alabama.

now is it?

They were cocky before the game, but still polite
for the most part. After the game, I didn't really
see that many of them anywhere...

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">All of the ones that tailgated with us (SWMBOs friends), came back afterwards and hung out. They were much more humble than before the game but they didn't skip out early to avoid us.

I was most impressed with the statement that they must've been believing what they'd read in the papers... I didn't know folks from Auburn could read...

All I noticed 'bout the Auburn fans was a bevvy of attractive coeds... Quite cute with their little pouts after the game...

There were some very nice Au fans at BDS on Saturday, but apparently they don't think much of us. Check their message boards and they're calling us "obnoxious, arrogant" and I believe a$$ holes made it in a few posts as well.

Having a Tiger Walk at an opposing stadium is never a good idea and that's where they attracted some less than hospitable behavior from some Tech students.

Some are promising revenge when we visit in '05. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes to me.

Many complemented our fans, campus, and new stadium. Sure there were some sour grapes but not nearly as much as I expected. I guess I expected the worse based on the behavour of most uga fans.
