Was it just what we predicted, will it buy Chan more time?

Sure. But he still needs to go at least 8-4 with a win over UGA.

I don't see Chan going anywhere unless the team just gives up on him. And there is no indication of that at all - they're still giving full effort and playing well for the most part.

He needs to beat Georgia or win 8 games.

Like instant replay, there needs to be indisputable evidence that he needs to go. 7-5 with a loss to UGA... probably a 50/50 chance he goes.

Just don't see Tech firing a coach with a winning record. A loss to UGA ups the heat but don't see them buying the contract. If you guys know something fess up. Richt has always understood the importance of the GT UGA game for recruiting and pride. He will not lose to Chan who will be happy with 7-5 and another Bowl Bid.

7-5 with a loss to UGA and he is 100% gone
I don't believe that. I think if he beats VT there will be tremendous pressure to keep him for financial reasons. Even though you say we will be fine it is still a big hit to the AA.

Dont believe it Kyle, he knows what he has to do to keep his job. I really am suprised we played that poorly in the first half, Chan had some fire under him in practice this week, he was working hard, I thought we would come out better to start.

Think about it. We have the best punter, best blocking back, perhaps the best running back and the best linebacker in the country. We have depth on the OL, a quality FG kicker, and a quality DL. We may reasonably expect to run the table from here on out, barring major injuries.

We dug ourselves a hole with VA and Maryland. That never should have happened. All we need is to quit shooting ourselves in the foot and we can go all the way.

VT is looking really good now. Their offense seems to be clicking now. Will Glennon set them back some? No idea...

Look at the SWAGGER that Chan has now. I think he has been reading Stingtalk.

Stop being an idiot for once and think about what you are saying. BOR was right you talk just to hear yourself.

I heard the TV announcers say we were down to 7 healthy OL's. That doesn't sound like a lot of depth to me.
