Was there a CPJ radio show last night?

There was to be no live show last night. There was, however, suppose to be a taped show running at 7.

There was a taped show which was broadcast.
POTG - Juene and Austin
Said Benson needs to hit the hole and quit jitter bugging - the offense does not work that way.
Said T Marshall is composed in the pocket. Made a good read to find JJ Green for the TD as the play was designed to go to Juene.
He kidded T D Roof after the game that he leads the team in sacks
Said that they need to be more aggressive on defense - more stunts and blitzes

I like the idea of aggression on defense. Especially in close games or games that we trail. Once we are up a couple scores, then perhaps it makes sense to keep it in front of you and extend opponent drives. I think it needs to be situational.

Andy D opened every segment by explaining the show was taped before they knew the UCF game was cancelled. So there was a segment previewing the game.

How many more times does the Head Coach have to say it before his employee (Roof) actually does it?

I'm admittedly likely projecting (cause I think Roof sucks), but I get the sense Johnson is continuing to be annoyed. If I recall correctly, the quote from the show was something to the effect of...

"*I*...we...went in there at halftime and decided we needed to be more aggressive..."

CPJ is usually pretty salty, but it sounded like it some extra saltiness in there coming from he has to continually involve himself directly over stuff like that.

Show is better without moronic callers.
"Hi, Coach, how are you?" (he just said he's fine to the last 10 callers).
'Doing well'.
"Congrats on the game last Saturday."
'Thanks'.
"<insert long boring story about fandom> Can you explain why we can't decide on one shade of gold? I'll hang up and listen."

In this case the show IS as bad as it seems.

CPJ is going to track down the dumb mass callers and beat them with a ball peen hammer. It'll be fine.

Not gonna lie, show much more enjoyable without retart fans calling in with their bad play call ideas, dumb uniform takes, and ad nauseum questions about why we can't recruit elite defensive linemen.

So so so true. We go through this every year. We need a blitz specialist or some other off field coaching position that just sits around and draws up cool blitzes.

John Tenuta is currently the CB coach at Cincy, I bet some BHC that he'd come back to Tech as a "blitz specialist" if CPJ offered it to him.
