As always I am looking forward to football season. As a longtime Tech fan, my sports season is Ga Tech football and basketball. I live in Chattanooga.

Any feedback on accessing games this year. At 73 and some health issues I will have watch on tv and/or online.

I am internet Roku only and PC, no cable. In the past regional coverage seem to cover most Tech games.

ESPN, ESPN+, ACC network, etc...

I am hopeful for "turn around" with our team this year.

I used Sling TV last year with the sports add on and it worked ok, and I just watched a pirated feed on firstrowsports for any games that were blacked out.

I use the radio app if I'm working. or just ask for the day off to watch someway

I am switching over to DirecTV stream from my DirecTV satellite, but I am keeping my regional sports package, so I'll get ACCN and Bally Sports fill in the blank, along with the ESPN armada of channels.

You're gonna have to find a good pirate site from Europe. Sorry.

First, congratulations on being such a long time Tech fan. I admire and appreciate people who are devoted to Tech sports.

I am sort of like you. I'm 72, and my health issues will keep me from ever attending another Tech game, unless Tech comes down to Mobile and plays South Alabama. Even then, I'm not sure I could go. But, I might try.

When you get to be our age and have a health problem, you don't take anything for granted, and things that used to be exciting or interesting, like future schedules or the coming recruiting classes, don't mean as much. I'm just praying to be able to enjoy this season with my family. If God grants that prayer, then I'll think about next year.

For many years, one of my sons and I went to all Tech home games and many road games. But there were other seasons, like 1990, when we lived too far away. We couldn't get Tech games on TV or the radio. I called the radio station and explained my problem to somebody there. That person was very nice and told me to call the station every week before the pregame show and he'd put me on hold (which played what was on the air) until the end of the post game show. Then, we hooked our phone up to a speaker. We didn't miss one play from that glorious season. I hope you'll find a way to follow every Tech game this year.

I hoped Collins would be fired at the end of last year, and I don't have any confidence in things improving as long as he or Stansbury are still at Tech.

But, as a good football coach used to say, it is what it is. So, since Collins and Stansbury are still here, I am really pulling for things to improve and for great things to happen this season. (I don't have any seasons to waste.) It doesn't seem either likely or impossible. I think we have as good a chance of winning eight or more as we have of winning three or less.

So, I hope your health holds steady and that Tech gives you some happy days this season.

To Hell With Georgia!
