CPJ lost his öööö on Southern's first td. Went over to the bench and got into it w an assistant (pelton?) Eta- on my dvr
Ya, I saw that on tv. I wouldn't say he lost his öööö, but there was no question what his opinion was.
Hated seeing Pelton questioning what CPJ was saying to the defense. It's ok to have a different opinion but to act like a petulant child in front of the team was wrong. Johnson is the head coach Pelton, live with it.
Davis #40 started up his chippy bullshit at end of half. I was as mad at his later PF as I was at Sneezy's slap.
Really? I though he checked off a few times he passed to his outlet receivers. Most of the time his first look was running in 1-on-1 with no safety help and a DB with his back turned. Is it bad to stare down a receiver then?
Thomas did miss wide open #7 Bostic in the middle of the field when he stared down our receiver on Southern's sidelines. I yelled "Seven is open!!!!" before he threw it, but JT just won't listen to me. Bostic would likely have scored a TD on the play. He was that wide open. JT never saw him.
Defense was wretched on GSU's first TD run. DE and LB both took the QB and nobody took the pitch. You'd think our defense would know a little bit about option assignments.
We don't ever throw up the middle unless its a home run shot. Almost all of our passes since CPJ have been sideline routes of some description.
CPJ chewing out the whole DL on the sidelines, really getting after it, and Pelton had words of rebuttal. Seemed entirely good natured on Pelton's part, more along the lines of "it's going to be alright coach", but it did kind of look bad that he was talking back to the HC in front of the players on the sideline.
