I recall that was one of Thacker's goals. Given that one of our four games was Clemson, I'd say we are ahead of schedule.

There are 6 teams with six but two of those teams have played five games. Only 4 other teams have only played four games.

Texas State
Washington State
UTSA
North Texas

We only have 2 interceptions which is a little disappointing but I don't think KSU threw many passes so really only three games. But still we should have more than 2 piks.

NIU and Clemson were both run heavy offenses in the games against us. I wouldn’t put too much into the low int or high fumble numbers. It will all settle out over the season.

Weren’t both of the picks in the KSU game?
Confirmed - that is even more disappointing. Omitting KSU, opponents are completing almost 70% of passes on us with an average QB rating of 141.

UNC actually lost yards on a few of their passes

On the flip side, we give up a lot of yards trying to force a turnover on the ball carrier. I would prefer we execute the tackle at the initial point of contact, rather than getting dragged a few yards while we go for the strip.

Giving up a couple yards - not a big deal - getting a fumble is a huge deal. I'm good with that tradeoff.

I wouldn't expect wazzou to stay near the top of the list. I was at the game Saturday and Utah pretty much just gifted them a fumble on most possessions. It was rather hilarious. Ute fans were not amused at our laughter.
