We haven't scored a TD in Blue Uni's since.....

Sometime in 1994 B*** L**** decided to use them that year (I can't remember). If not, it was in the 43-10 riot game against UGAg in 1993. Either way, it's been 14-15 years.

I'm pretty sure we wore blue jerseys for the entire Lewis tenure, with the exception of a Thurdsay night game against Virginia when we broke out the gold jerseys as a big motivational tactic, and they WAXED us. That's what I always think of when I see the gold jerseys (except the throwbacks).

In fact, when I got to my seats and saw the blue jerseys with gold pants it immediately made me think of his teams. We always wore white pants with them with Ross.

We started wearing white at home again with O'Leary, for the first time since Bill Curry's first or second year, and wore gold as a home alternate when the visiting team wouldn't agree to allow it. We wore gold at home for all of the Chan tenure except the ACCC.

Since we've only worn blue jerseys for two bad games since 1994 but wore them at home all that year I suppose our last touchdown in them was then.

Incorrect.

2002: Wore the uniforms that were introduced in 2001, wearing white jerseys for every game except Wake Forest. There were no gold jerseys in the style of the then-current uniforms, so we wore the ones that were worn in 2000. For the Silicon Valley Classic we wore white jerseys and pants.

2003: Wore gold jerseys to open the new Bobby Dodd Stadium against Auburn, but wore white jerseys the rest of the year. I think we might have worn gold for Homecoming, but I don't remember for certain.

2004-07: We wore gold jerseys at home and white on the road. In 2006, we wore our throwbacks for a Thursday night Virginia game and our blue jerseys with white pants for the ACCCG.

So, TheJacket, were you on the right side (when viewing the field) of our section in front of me? I thought about approaching the guy that I thought was you.

Didn't wanna be wrong though :P

I was to your right, sitting directly in front of the people with the big white banner. I saw your GSU jacket, but I figured not introducing myself would save you the trouble of explaining to your friends "It's a guy from the internet."

That plus, if I was wrong and it wasn't you, I'd have been pretty embarrassed.

Yea, that was me in the GSU jacket. You're right about being wrong though. That's the whole reason I didn't approach the one who I thought (and apparently) was you.

We should have taken advantage of this opportunity. I woulda lied and said you were from somewhere else. I've done it once before :p

That or responded to "Are you The Jacket" with "Maybe.. do you have the stuff?"

If he was with a group of Tech fans, they would've understood the message board introduction. If he was with a group of Southern fans, they wouldn't have understood the Intraweb concept at all. Either way, you were in the clear.
