I think this is a fine idea. We'd have a distinct advantage having no numbers on our jerseys.

I get the idea and it would be cool to acknowledge the golden tornado but throwback uniforms to the leather helmet days have always looked abysmal. They wore plain or odd patterned sweaters back then with khaki colored pants. It just doesn't translate well into a good look today. Heck they didn't even have leather helmets in 1917.

If things go as they usually do, these would be the most useful uniforms we could possibly have, perhaps some obfuscation is the answer. Maybe the refs would hold onto the illicit flags they would normally throw against us because subconsciously they don't want to pick on one of their own.

I have no desire for a throwback uni. I want a modern uniform that references the golden tornado or has that theme. Think MLB City Connect…the good ones.

My vision would be a whole kit we break out once a year. It would have gold and white spiraling up the entire ensemble and the Tech Tower T on the helmets (I guess you could keep the GT). White helmets Gold T. Numbers in storm gray or Navy. I leave it to real artists to make it look cool.

I don’t want a lot of alternate uniforms but I think a Golden Tornado one would be a cool homage to our national champions of the past and a name we went by for a brief time.
