Week 4 uniforms

Knee pad too high. I have to say as an oldster I just can't abide the 'let's just wear something like football shorts' instead of the traditional full body uniform. I don't like it. I think it looks like something girls would do and it's dumb. But the colors are not bad considering Weak will probably be in gold helmets. GO TECH! GO JACKETS!! GO!!! FIGHT, WIN, GET NAKED!!!!

Just my opinion but I think we are saving them.

When I played football I found that the knee pads to be useless. I ran slower because of them and I still had knee injuries and lots of knee scrapes.

We wore white helmets under Bobby Dodd a good bit, so it's not "not" our look. Like you, though, I prefer the gold hammet.

I mean, it's all about your frame of reference I guess. We went pretty much 40 years wearing nothing but gold helmets, so I think it's safe to say it is our look.

I'm just happy to see anything that reinforces a white and gold brand and identity, including the alternate white hats.

Like I said, I prefer gold as well, but it’s not like we haven’t worn white. We also did with that (now) classic uni under Carson in the early 70’s.
