Talk about falling from grace for Wake. That is pretty big drop but I guess they did get shutout.

I'm surprised UVA didn't get any votes.
 
Can we puh-leeeze not lose a game immediately upon becoming ranked?

Can we just rip Virginia to shreds?

You'd think so. unless the Harris Poll has us at 25 or something (or even unranked). Also, the BCS drops the highest and lowest computer rankings, so hopefully Sagarin having us at 14 won't turn out to be a big outlier from the rest of the computers.
 
Seems about right --I had GT penciled in at #20, ahead of both Kansas and Mizzou though.

Next week:

Of course GT must take care of business @BDS vs UVA.

Looks like the only team in the vicinity of GT in the polls that could lose next weekend would be Kansas --vs. Texas Tech.

Interesting game will be UGA @ LSU. When #9 UGA goes down in a flame of cajun-hellfire in Baton Rouge while #21 GT takes care of UVA, then where will (6-2) UGA and (7-1) GT end up in next weeks polls?
 
Good question GT65_UGA89. But LSU is a pretty crappy team this year. If they beat UGA, then UGA is absolutely horrible. If UGA beats LSU, it's not saying much about UGA either because LSU is extremely overrated.

The boys from Red Stick haven't impressed me much this year. I think the Dawgs should get a win there. That being said, assuming we TCB and UGA doesn't (and we end up higher ranked than them), the collective rage that would come from Dawg Nation would be pretty awesome to watch.

Wonder if the ajc would then shut down their 'Know Your Dawgs" weekly banter and start up a 'Who the hell are these Jackets' weekly report?

Can we just all take a moment and think about how great Paul Johnson has pulled the team together (in his FIRST year here) and gotten us this ranking?

At the same time, we don't need to get cocky, the moment we start to focus on rankings, the moment we stop focusing on the field. GO JACKETS!!

Seven wins in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2007. We did manage to get to nine in 2006, but we also lost five games....
