There are a few games that will be played tomorrow in near 100 or 100+ degree weather. The coolest will be in Ireland, I suppose.

Any games of interest to anyone? Mercer is @ North Alabama (game time temps forecasted up to 102). I grew up an MU fan and teach a class there, so I like to see them do well.

Others?

I'll try to catch the Notre Dame Navy game in Ireland, and maybe the Vandy Hawaii game, but not truly zoning in until next weekend.

It will be interesting to see how Sam Hartman does at Notre Dame. I think he was a special talent at Wake Forest, and the loss of a QB like that will have a bigger impact than expected for the Deacs. After watching a couple replays of Wake Forest games from last year, I suspect they are going to be down this season.

Not in week zero obviously, but I love this ad that Tech has put out for next week ---

"Why is fan attendance dropping?"
Anyone stupid enough to ask a question like that should have their badge taken and a security escort to their car and barred from the announcing booth for eternity. I didn't see who said it - did David Pollack do a special favor to get to call a game somewhere?

Jax State FBS debut happening on CBS Sports. Looks miserable there. 130 degrees on the field.

Other than the ND vs Navy game those were all surprisingly close contests. Even USC was only up 7 at the half before their horses just took over.
