They’re a top-25 team. I don’t think there’s any question about it. They’re doing all the good things you need to do to win football games. They’re controlling the ball offensively and taking care of it. Watching them against Duke the other day (a 27-0 victory), I thought that’s as good a looking defensive group as I’ve seen so far this year.

I hope he stays with Wake. I think some bigger teams (UT) are going to start making a run at him.
 
Grobe is a good guy and a great coach. Hope he stays at Wake. Would be interesting to see what he could do at a UT. Somehow it's just hard to picture him there. Maybe he pulls a Beamer and stays at Wake.

Now that you mention it, didn't Grobe turn down Bama during one of their many recent coaching changes?
 
Grobe has either turned down or deflected interest from a number of teams. Hard to say for sure who, with rumors and the interent being what they are, but I've heard 'Bama, Arkansas and Nebraska mentioned.
 
Coach Grobe doesn't live too far from me. The AD, Ron Wellman, reportedly is a great guy to work for. I get the impression his wife likes it here. Money might be more somewhere else but is not bad here. The community loves the man. I sort of doubt he will ever leave-he has done some incredible things at a place that had little if no tradition.
 
Grobe is a HOF ACC caliber coach. He 's a few years off that accolade but you have to admire his character. CPJ is right there and together they can affect tremendous change.

I'll have the country fried steak, creamed potatoes
& gravy, fried okra, squash, crowders and all you can stand cornbread muffins. :biggthumpup: Gotcha!
