What about the penalties last week.

I thought we had the screws put to us worse than any game this year but haven't heard a lot about it. Examples:

Dback drives thru Calvin early but no pass interference call

Then on next possession we are called for a phantom pass interference. And another one on third down early in the 3rd quarter. Then the roughing the punter call where the rusher only barely clipped the punters toes. I was going ape. Did anyone see it on TV? What did the commentators say? T thought the refs were trying to had it to the scUM.

I thought the PI penalties were questionable when I saw them live but the calls appeared correct when I went back and watched it on DVR - the one on Kenny Scott would've been called 'Illegal Contact' in the NFL but he definitely grabbed the receiver and kept him from making a play on the ball. Roughing the punter was probably the correct call, too. You can't run through the kicker with his leg fully extended.

The calls last week and in the CU game (including the non-rule halo call against us) were nowhere near as bad the as the VT game. The VT game was the most unbelievable refereed game I have ever seen. Were those refs reprimanded? The calls and the ball spots in that game were Bizarre.

After the refs not giving us a pass interference for one of our receivers and then not giving them the intereception in the end zone I now believe in make-up calls. I think the refs didn't give them the INT as a make-up for not calling the pass interference on them.

It was bad from the start. On our first posession, um was 4 feet offsides on a third down play with no penalty. Everyone in the house saw it.

Well, in fairness, the refs also blew that interception in the end zone and we ended up kicking a FG...

After they reviewed that play, I wondered why they let us off the hook. It appeared to me that it was a clean and simple interception.

Maybe they felt a bit guilty over some other calls/lack of calls.
