What are AT points used for now?

1st dibs at away game/bowl tickets, better seats at away games/bowl games.

I also assume better chance at getting the best parking spots too.

all those plus seating upgrades and waiting lists (basketball seasons etc etc)

In other words...not much. You basically can pay your way into any seat today, just by requesting a section early enough and pay the PSL.....

So all of us who have been making donations all these many years to accumulate lots of AT points have been screwed? That was quick. Where was the kiss and foreplay? :ugh:

It wasn't and isn't there. As you note we got hosed.
 
Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that AT points still matter. Yes, if you want to pay a PSL for better seats you can do that, but you'll be ranked for that section based on AT points, right?
 
they do matter b/c the TF could change. Although there will always be some type of PSL (IMO) the pts could come back into play.

That is what I thought. We are in a transition right now. I think the A-T points will matter if/when we reseat.

Yeah, I think DRAD postponed reseating (which was originally scheduled for 2008 IIRC) so that everyone would have a couple of seasons to figure out the new TF/AT system before locking in a seat location.
 
Think how complicated this might have been if we WEREN'T a "mathmatically superior" engineering school!

no more reseating with the new system. When he implemented the new system he gave everyone the chance to keep their current seats by paying the PSL, those who didn't were gone. Reseating is not part of the equation anymore.

AT points only matter in the section you are requesting IF there is a waitlist for said section...which right now is only like 4-5 sections in the stadium.

OK. I like the PSL. It let me move about 30 yards towards the center for $100.
