What are the chances that the CFP seeders will try prevent an all SEC final?

I think the chances are pretty good. We heard for years how a playoff would never work because "students first athletes second".

Then the BCS gave us a Bama-LSU rematch for a title game that was the lowest-rated of the BCS era and earned very little $$$ from hot TV markets (which are not in Bama or Louisiana). The "but final exams" concerns proved as flippant as NCAA rules enforcement, and the CFP was born almost overnight, replacing two polls and a computer with 13 corrupt humans who have a direct financial interest in who plays.

Conclusion: they will seed this to avoid a rematch, which is why they're mourning over OkSt today. Notre Dame would be a Cincy rematch, so they aren't likely to leapfrog the Irish over UGA and were counting on the Cowboys. I expect them to put Bama and UGA as round 1 opponents.

Y'all know good and well that this afternoon it will be:
Dwags vs Cincinnati
Alabama vs Michigan
Television does not want Alabama vs Georgia too soon. They want them for the championship game.
I think the best teams we played this year were Notre Dame followed by Georgia and Pitt.
