Is this team going to fight or do they know their coach is a dead man walking? They are reading the same news we are. I'm genuinely they won't show up and get absolutely steam rolled by UCF.

I saw great effort from the players the first half against Clemson. Since then, it does not look like they want to play for him. Collins decision to run 10 seconds off the clock at the end of the first half in that game with 42 seconds remaining and Clemson punting was inexplicable. It sent a message to the players that he has no faith in them. I think that was demoralizing. The decision to not fire him after the Ole Miss loss is also inexplicable. I do not anticipate a good result today. I think it’s going to be ugly. The players just don’t want to play for Collins it seems.

From what I’ve seen so far this year, they certainly aren’t giving it all. Matt on 680 yesterday was betting they wouldn’t lay down, they do have some fight left, but I don’t think I agree. I’d love to be proven wrong today.

Any guy that doesn’t play all out for the first half should be kicked off the team. Any athlete worth a damn will at least give you that. But maintaining that intensity in the second half when you see the game getting away from you is hard to do. Taking some plays off at that point is forgivable as far as I’m concerned.

I actually think we might win today. The pressure is all on UCF not to lose. There is no pressure on us, since nobody expects us to do anything but show up and get pummeled. Plus, winning this game would be such a Georgia Tech thing to do.
