What do you think about the idea to charge fans at the recruiting party?

What do you think about the fee-based signing day party? Considering we've had a tough time getting fans to pay to go to games, you can't help but wonder a bit about this marketing idea.

Its a good idea to raise money, but Ill put it simply. Its this type idea.

Who goes to a signing party? Hardcore fans. Family. Staff. Those are the same people that will go if it costs $10. Its not gonna deter any of them.

Where's the story?......I can't remember.....

....the evening event being free! It was $10 last year, and $15 each of the two years before that.

Does anyone do research for stories any more?

I don't believe the evening event has ever been free.
